FOOTBALL VICTORIA RETURN TO PLAY

Football Victoria has announced they are targeting Sunday, 28 June as the return to play date for community teams (subject to change).

COUNCIL UPDATE

BUFC has submitted a ‘return to play request’ with the Hobson Bay council. Should this be approved we will be subject to non-contact activity only and social distancing will need to be abided by.

TRAINING

Until further notice, no club sanctioned training is permitted and no groups or individuals should use club facilities — including, but not limited to equipment in container, floodlights, pavillion — until government, council and league regulations apply.

VICSOCCER AND OVER 45s

A return to play update for our VicSoccer and Over 45s team is yet to be announced, however we are currently working with both leagues on their respective positions regarding the 2020 season.

We will update these teams in due course.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

The BUFC committee is working with the coaches of our Football Victoria teams to manage the return to play.

However, please note, there is no pressure on any player or coach to return should they feel uncomfortable in light of current circumstances.
